Caribbean Dinner
at Caspar Community Center

On Saturday, May
31, at the Caspar Community Center, there will be a Caribbean
dinner and dance to benefit Ellen Albrecht’s health recovery.
The evening will feature a delicious tropical buffet dinner,
a silent auction and music by Mambo This!, Kevin and the Coconuts,
Los Piratas, and Danny Barca. Dinner starts at 6 pm and music

Todd Farmhouse Antiques
is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate their 2008
Spring Reopening on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 10 am. The 1898
farmhouse Is filled with 14 rooms of antiques, collectables,
vintage quilts and linens, crystal, china, art and gifts.
Judy Haun and her staff have traveled Northern California
looking for items for your home or to give as gifts. To celebrate
Fort Bragg’s Memorial Day Quilt Show, Helen Haun will
be showing her award winning, “Best of Show” quilt
– Windows of the World at the farmhouse.

The MacCallum House
in Mendocino is sponsoring a "Dine Out" to benefit the Mendocino
Coast Children's Fund on Wednesday, May 21 from 5-9 pm. So
here is a chance to take out a friend, your partner, your
neighbor or your mother (for a belated Mother's Day treat)......
All profits on this night will go to the Children's Fund,
the oldest grassroots non-profit advocate for the needs of
all coastal children from Westport to Gualala. For more info

whole world! Come Celebrate Pangea Day at Arena Theater, Saturday
May 10th, 11am to 3pm. Pangea Day is a global event bringing
the world together in real time through film. Twenty-four
inspiring short films from all over the world, plus live music
and visionary speakers will be live fed in seven languages
to millions of people worldwide. Among the speakers and performers:
Queen Noor of Jordan, CNN's Christiane Amanpour, musician/activist
Bob Geldof and Iranian rock phenom Hypernova. Free to our
Redwood Coast community. Contributions accepted and appreciated.
Concessions will be open. Arena Theater, 219 Main St, Point
